I just love them. Especially when they're really cute, fluffy, and just plain adorable! Whenever I see puppies nearby, I would get all softened up and would want to hug them and just play with them. They're probably one of my weakness.

I've came across this page full of really cute puppies and would want to share them. They are just plain adorable! I just wish I could get one someday! =) We do have a puppy here in our home and I really really love it (uhm...maybe except when he's all dirty and smelly...O.o) But nevertheless, I love puppies in general (but not as much as I love cats though) =)

Anyway, I found these pics over the net and they are full of cuteness! (=^.^=)

awww...they look soooo sweeet!

puppie is tired

this is plain cute!

as for this one, the cat is cuter (=^.^=) poor doggie...lol

"From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." - Psalm 61:1, 2

Most of the time, our problems in life result from our inability to see a way out of bad situations which have gradually taken us captive.

Thinking that nothing can be done results in doing nothing, and this becomes a choice which you make. Want to reverse a bad situation which is depressing you? Then take note of the following guidelines:

1. Realize that depression is a choice which you have made. It's a bad choice which can be reversed. Almost always it is not the result of a situation which only God can change, but the result of your accepting those situations as being unchangeable and permanent.

2. Understand that what happens to you is of concern to God. Depression has a spiritual dimension, and so does your life. There is forgiveness for your failure and hope for your despair. There is a God Who cares about you.

3. Refuse to accept the thought that your depressing circumstances are permanent. Some of the most upbeat, vibrant individuals are people who had every right to feel down and discouraged. They turned their handicap into a stepping-stone which led to victory.

4. As tough as it may be, understand that people will help, but they can't do it for you. You and God have to form a partnership in this whole process of turning your life around. Depending on others instead of depending on God is like letting someone carry you instead of learning to walk. But at the end of our resources, there is God, and you will find that He is enough. As David wrote, "From the end of the earth I will cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I" (Psalm 61:2)

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think It's important to know how and when to eat..

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! - FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD - Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit.. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid.. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining - every time I eat water-melon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet etc. - actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes - all these will not happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans.. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

Rock + Quartet Strings.

Not a common combination right? But sounds so effin cool! Imagine rock songs played with 2 violins, viola, and a cello. It might sound a little peculiar but it really sounds so impressive. It's like applying rock n' roll attitude to classical technique. I never thought it could be so breath-taking and beautiful. I was really blown when I first heard it.

The String Quartet Tributes by the Vitamin String Quartet started the musical endeavor way back but I just discovered them recently and the first rendition I heard from them was No Doubt's Don't Speak. It was really beautiful and soothing. It really took me away and calmed my mood. I dunno why but when I hear really good music, it just blows me away. I stopped from what I was doing, just listened and enjoyed the music. It really altered my mood.Kinda brought me to tears. My favorite songs in strings. It's perfect. And right now, I just can't stop listening to these songs.:D

Here's a playlist of some of my favorite songs turned into beautiful classicals (you can also check other songs in YouTube) :

I am really a big fan of Tim Burton's films and I can't wait to watch this new upcoming animated movie entitled '9' which he produced!

So what is 9 and what makes it interesting and a must-see for movie enthusiasts?

Well, it's a number! :D Well, seriously...

9 is an upcoming animated action/fantasy film directed by Shane Acker and produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted).

9 takes place in a post-apocalyptic and alternate version of our world, in which the very legacy of humanity is threatened by machines. The machines, built by a scientist to help the world recover from a previous war, rebelled and began to manufacture an army to wipe out humanity. So the same scientist creates a group of sentient rag dolls, or "stitch punks" as Shane Acker calls them, who lives among the ruins of the civilization. Named by numbers, each name represents their age, with 1 as the oldest. One day, they find 9 (voiced by Elijah Wood), another ragdoll and their creator's final project.

You can check out the trailer and see for yourself! :D

Also check out the 10-minute award-winning short film which this feature film was based on:

I first found this movie when I was searching about Tim Burton and I'm glad I came across this one. What really drew me to this film is that its animation is quite impressive, the plot and characters are uniquely created, and the overall feel of the movie is dark, grungy, and epic. I must say the imagination of the creator is really at work--molding life into rag dolls is something you don't see everyday. It's original, genuine, creative and full of action and adventure.

I can't wait to see this movie and I hope it will never fail my high expectations of it. Plus the music of the trailer is kick-ass! Watch this on 9/9/09 :D

"Apologizing does not mean that you are wrong and the other one is right...
It simply means that you value the relationship much more than your ego..."

The story goes that some time ago a man punished his 5-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became even more upset when the child used the gold paper to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy. The father was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. He spoke to her in a harsh manner, "Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty. I blew kisses into it until it was full. The father was crushed. He fell on his knees and put his arms around his little girl, and he begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger.

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later and it is told that the father kept that gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. And whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

It's been a long while since I haven't updated this blog ever since I've been transported to another place. Actually, I barely updated this even when I was still in my hometown.

But things have changed (well, mostly) and somehow I want to maintain this blog site now that I feel like I've settled in my new place! I just hope that I would stay true in maintaining and updating this because before, I usually just post or even visit my blog when I feel like it. But now, I want to dedicate a part of time for this and make some efforts in improving this blog site. And if this turns out to be a success, I might as well buy my own new domain! :D

Well for now, I just hope that whatever is contained in this blog site will somehow be beneficial to the people hopping into this messy, crappy site. :D I'm still trying to make improvements. (I really want to change my layout but I dunno where to start...T.T) Well, I hope everyone would enjoy my posts and maybe learn something from it! :D Well, sayonara for now and ganbatteh! (=^.^=) God bless everyone!

#1 THREE WISHES

A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, "I'll give each of you just one wish."

"Me first!Me first!" says the admin clerk. "I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world."
Puff! She's gone.

"Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life."
Puff! He's gone.

"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."

MORAL OF THE STORY:
Always let your boss have the first say.

#2 HIGH UP ABOVE

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him,

"Can I also sit like you and do nothing?"
The eagle answered, "Sure, why not."
So the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

MORAL OF THE STORY:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.
